Help Embrace Village with 3 volunteers for facilitating our choir

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

For impoverished and traumatized communities, singing in a choir can offer a powerful means of healing and empowerment. In such environments, where individuals often face high levels of stress and hardship, choir singing provides a positive outlet for emotional expression and relief. The act of coming together as a group fosters a sense of belonging and solidarity, which can be especially important for those who feel isolated or disenfranchised. It helps to rebuild social connections, promote teamwork, and strengthen community ties. Additionally, the focus required in choir practice encourages individuals to be present and engaged, offering a brief respite from daily struggles. The sense of achievement and personal growth that comes with mastering music and performing can restore self-esteem and provide a pathway for emotional healing, offering hope and resilience in the face of adversity. Our beneficiaries have already initiated an informal choir, however we are looking for somebody who would be able to join us in developing their talents. If you are that person please reach out and let's make a difference together.
