IYDS Foundation is one of the organizations currently implementing the National Youth Service programme. The NYS is part of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention, the largest NYS programme on the African continent – community service contributing to social cohesion and nation building, whilst growing individual skills and employability. Furthermore, the NYS programme is the first entry, safety net job – conceptualized to curb high levels of youth unemployment with the strategic vision to transition participants to other career and learning pathways. In our context, a total of 50 NYS participants exits to game changer programme. To date, 30 youths have been placed on permanent jobs. #Call-To-Action: Help us achieve 100% transition rate by offering bursaries, internships, entrepreneurship opprotunities and much needed jobs to some of our participants, and by becoming the funding partner or donor of this service offering.
