Crochet Studio is proud to have their baby blankets and signature quirky animals retailing in several Johannesburg interior design stores: Peter Thomas Interiors in Atholl Square, Firehouse in Dunkeld West and Art Africa, an upmarket store in Parkview!
Africa Works Crochet Studio had a good year last year.They survived the somewhat emotional move from Alex out of the old premises in Marlboro South to a room at the Rosebank Union Church.Eight ladies from the old crochet class continue to attend once a week and, under the guidance of Sylvia, their dedicated crochet teacher, produce several batches of Africa Works’ signature quirky animals, whom are referred to fondly as ‘Long-legged Friends’! Africa Works is proud to have had their baby blankets retailing last year in two interior design stores: Peter Thomas Interiors in Atholl Square, and Firehouse in Dunkeld West.In addition to that, the Long-legged Friends made it into Art Africa,an upmarket store in Parkview selling all things funky and bright from Africa. Africa Works continues to pray for help with marketing and crochet teaching, as well as a helping hand with deliveries and postage when necessary.The team has built up the crocheting skills of their wonderful ladies over several years of hard work and dedication: they don’t want to stop now!
