Mission and Vision: Oliver’s Village is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged communities in Daveyton and the surrounding areas. Established in 2001 with the founding of Oliver’s House, the organization’s primary mission is to provide essential educational, social and environmental services to those in need, focusing particularly on children, youth, and families from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Oliver’s Village is built on the principle of sustainability addressing food security by providing nutritious meals to vulnerable community members, helping individuals become self-reliant with a strong focus on education and empowerment. Key Programs and Initiatives: Oliver’s Village runs a range of impactful programs that serve over 600 individuals daily, with a strong focus on education, empowerment, and community well-being: Early Childhood Development Centre, Computer Training Centre, Agricultural Training College, Feeding Program.
