Tembisa Feed our Kids 2017 for Mandela Day
The late former President Nelson Mandela once said: “Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural... and overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and decent life.”
The 2017 Feed our Kids in Tembisa became a huge success and made a huge difference in our community in Tembisa. Life 4 U Foundation would like to thank Michelle Massyn, her family and friends; Lesego Mantsho from Sasol, Bianca and her Husband who came to cooks meals and also to play with the kids. The group made a huge difference in the lives of the young kids in Moriting-Tembisa. Mini tournament was hosted and Michelle Massyn went extra mile by organising refreshment and medals for the kids. As this year Mandela day theme was #Action Against Poverty. We as life 4 U Foundation decided to strengthen and upscale our efforts to fight poverty by focusing on children development and nutrition. We are always inspired by the words which the Former States man once said when he said “Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural... and overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and decent life.” That is why our primary objective at Life 4 U Foundation is to ensure that impoverished families are not deprived of human dignity and the right to live a descent lives. At life 4 U Foundation we thank everyone who came to support our cause.
