Sylvie is volunteering in our morning Bridging School Program. She provides once a week art sessions for a small group of up to 5 kids. The individual attention is FANTASTIC for the kids
This is what the coordinator of the programme had to say: Sylvie is doing an amazing job. Our boy, S, is finding it difficult to accept that he cant be in formal school at the moment due to his circumstances. Sylvie did a lesson on self awareness and helped the children create big pictures of themselves. It was so good for S because he needed to know that he IS IMPORTANT. It was the first time that I saw him smile in two days and participate in a lesson.
