Empowering beneficiaries through our free computer programme
On February 12, we launched our first computer class of the year, equipping participants with essential digital skills to boost job opportunities. Led by Thando Ndzengu, the free programme covers computer basics, internet use, and Microsoft Word. One group has already graduated, and the next will soon celebrate their achievement with a Certificate of Completion. To expand our impact, we need more laptops, as participants currently share six devices. Donations of new or used laptops will help us
On February 12, we started with our first computer class of the year, welcoming beneficiaries to our free Computer Programme. The session was facilitated by Thando Ndzengu, who introduced participants to computer basics, including operating systems, internet and email usage, Microsoft Word, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This course aims to provide essential digital skills to those who may have dropped out of school, completed matric, or simply want to improve their computer knowledge to increase their job opportunities. We currently have two groups enrolled, with one group having already completed the course. Once the second group finishes, we will celebrate their achievement with a graduation ceremony, where each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion to help them in their job search. This initiative is making a real impact by empowering individuals with the skills they need to apply for jobs and confidently enter the workforce. However, we are in urgent need of more laptops. At the moment, we only have six laptops, which means beneficiaries must share. We would be extremely grateful for donations of new or used laptops, as they will allow us to expand the program and support even more participants. Your continued support is truly appreciated, and we thank you for helping us make a difference.
