The foundation developed a program called Pack of hope as a response ho high rate of leaner pregnancy. The impact of teenagers falling pregnant in schools will in future leave an indelible gap when it comes to having skilled and educated youth going out into the workplace. It is clear that the Department of Education is having problems in closing the gap of teenage pregnancies and as such they need our support. While Life Orientation classes in schools are there to inform the learners of the dangers of teen pregnancy and STIS’s, the reality is that these lessons are all theory based. Teenage/Leaner pregnancy continues to have a detrimental effect which poses a challenge to our country, these are affects in terms of Health, Economic, Social and Education space.
