The vision of this ministry is to generate the love of Jesus by meeting the immediate needs of the mother and her newborn baby. Grannies Who Care is a registered Non-Profit organisation that was founded in June 2012, by a handful of grannies who aspired to reach out to those in need to their community. The road to 40 in partnership with Lerato was a success. In honour of her best friend Moloko who would have celebrated her 40th birthday today, she donated 50 blankets, 40 booties and 40 beanies to newborns at Kalafong Hospital. She might be gone but her memory lives on and today mommies and babies were blessed .

We held our first Kalafong Outreach for January 2025 this morning! A big thank you to Maryann and Rapha for their support. Our visit was brief but sweet, as there weren't many mothers and babies present this month. Nonetheless, it was wonderful to reconnect with the wards, greet the staff, and bless the mothers we did meet by distributing our parcels and sharing the love & care & words of encouragement this morning.
