FUTURA Special School

We are a Public School. We have 495 learners, ranging from ages 4years to 14 years of age. Our learners follow the DCAPS Curriculum that is based on 20% theory ad 80% practical activities. Several of our ASD learners are non-verbal while some learners are still using diapers. Our staff is fully qualified, also having the full-time services of a Professional nurse, a social worker, a speech therapist and an occupational therapist. Our learners come from all over Johannesburg South Areas. We are in dire need of sporting facilities for our learners. We have the available space, but we do not have sporting courts. WE would also appreciate the services of sporting coaches to come and work with our learners. We are also in need of seating areas and a shade area for the nutrition center, where more than 300 learners receive 2 daily meals a day.
