A team of corporate volunteers painted a mural at Umzamo Day Care Centre
Chic Mamas received an offer from Corporate CSI leader Kaylene Pillay, to assist with a Mandela Day handyman project we had posted. July's unrest and adjustments to the project didn't deter this amazing team who contributed their own finances, which their company matched, for the paint and materials required to paint a joyful mural on a brand new container classroom at Umzamo Day Care Centre. The enthusiasm and camaraderie of the huge-hearted volunteers is clearly evident in the transformed 12m container and will bring delight to preschoolers for years to come. Well done to Manquabo, DC, Xola. Ruben, Kaylene and Cylicia!
