Little Siya

Little Siya looked up at the big tall Policeman. Would he be put in a cell? Maybe it was a crime now to hitch lifts? His Mum had gone to Jhb and he was left with Uncle, but then Uncle shouted something about his Mum and money and he found himself out on the street! He must have done something wrong then, and when he decided to hitch to Jhb maybe that was wrong also. The truck driver did not say it was wrong, but he did say it was unsafe and dropped him with the police after a long journey, he did not know where he was though. But then the policeman smiled and said he was not being arrested and he would go stay at a nice safe house whilst they tracked his Mum down and organised things. So Siya came to 7th Heaven, and was there from October to February whilst his mother raised enough money to come and fetch him. Siya missed his Mum over Christmas, but was quite at home and enjoyed having children to play with, food on the table and really started to enjoy the prayer times and the singing. He would always remember that he can always at any time pray to Jesus in his heart and Jesus will always love him wherever he goes.
